What is the schedule for the classes?

You will receive a link to access the software, and a Zoom class will be scheduled to ensure that you are using the software correctly. You will have 24/7 access to the course, allowing you to practice typing at your convenience. You will have 30-day access to the typing program and can arrange to take the mock exam/final exam at any time within this 30-day period. No access will be granted after this period.

Is there a charge to get a certificate?

The course itself is free, but to earn your certificate, you must complete a mock exam followed by a final exam. The exam fee is $300. The supervised exam is conducted via Zoom, where you will need to provide identification, share your screen, and keep your camera on to prevent any cheating.

What is the pass mark?

Students will only receive a certificate if they achieve a minimum score of 45 words per minute (wpm). If you wish to earn a certificate, you can take a mock exam to assess your typing speed before proceeding to the final exam.

What happens if I fail the mock exam?

If you do not pass the mock exam, you will have the opportunity to retake it for free.
