Unit 4 - Creating an Invoice

An invoice is a bill that a seller sends to a buyer to ask for payment. It lists what was bought, how much it costs, and when payment is due.

Example of an Invoice

This invoice shows:

  • The invoice number and date.

  • The buyer's information (Bill To).

  • Details of the items purchased, including quantity, unit price, and total cost.

  • Subtotal, tax amount, and the total amount due.

  • The payment due date.
